The three “Voices of Lelant” is a wonderful oral history CD commemorating the anniversary of the Levant Mine Disaster on the 20th October, 1919 – including recordings of some survivors and family members. Profits will help St. Just Town Trust to raise a statue to honour the miners.

At 17 Norman began his musical career as deputy organist at Saltash Wesley Church, played the organ in Forces Concerts in the R.A.F., for 27 years was Secretary to the Inner London Schools Music Association whilst Secretary to the L.C.A.. Now 88 he is Secretary to “The Homecomers” and organist at Ludgvan Parish Church.

Born in St. Ives, Mrs. Collins has been involved with music all her life, as a distinguished contralto and choir member, performing in Oratorio and in concert with leading singers. She is currently conductor of Camborne Wesley Methodist Church.

Mousehole Male Voice Choir, Conductor: Mr. Stephen Lawry:
The second oldest Male Choir in Cornwall, celebrating its Centenary, the choir has become well-known internationally having made its first radio broadcast in 1932, was the first Cornish Choir on television, received world-wide acclaim via “Songs of Praise” and has been in concert with Bryn Terfel, Benjamin Luxon, Alan Opie, with many recordings available.
